How can I finance my graduate degree

How can I finance my graduate degree?
I'm currently an undergrad interested in earning an MA in Creative Writing. Is there any way to pay for graduate school without taking out loans, or receiving merit based scholarships? The school that I am interested in attending awards merit based scholarships, but they are very difficult to obtain.

See if your employer offers a tuition reimbursement program. Many employers will reimburse part or all of your school tuitions. I am currrently working on my Masters - my company is paying 100% of my tuition and the only thing I am responsible for is my books.

Try a whole bunch of different scholarship searches. Remember that while undergraduate scholarships tend to be merit-based, graduate ones tend to focus on field of study. Some to try: http://www.StudentScholarshipSearch.com http://www.ScholarshipPoints.com http://www.FastWeb.com http://www.CollegeBoard.com If you go the loan route, try: http://www.GradLoans.com
