I have a finance MBA, should I get a MA and CPA also

I have a finance MBA, should I get a MA and CPA also?
I have a finance MBA from a state school, but have done mostly federal government consulting (no accounting), and I am pretty well paid for my age at this point. If I get an Masters in Accountancy, and then a CPA, would this allow me make the jump to a good paying, high level private sector job? Or would I probably need to start over, and learn some accounting basics on the job before getting to high levels of finance at Fortune 100 companies? I would like to be a CFO one day, and I know that I have the brains and the will to get there. What I can't accept is a large pay cut so that I can go do some entry-level book-keeping for 2 years (I have a kid to take care of!) I live in Virginia, and as far as I can tell from http://www.boa.state.va.us/geninfo.asp, I would not require experience prior to using the CPA title. Does anyone know if this is a correct interpretation?

Get your CPA. Also consider a law degree as well. And stay on top of IT with seminars and the occasional college course (amassing credits for an eventual graduate degree along the way, of course!)

My sister has a MBA in Finance from a top graduate school, and prior experience with a major investment bank. She doesn't have a Masters or a CPA, and got into a job as an investment banker. There are so many career paths that lead to the CFO level. You should apply for jobs that you fit in, in terms of qualifications right now (if you are looking for private sector employment immediately) and ask what the advancement opportunities will be. Having a CPA and another master's are pluses. If you want to go for another master's, beware that a lot of private companies don't pay 100% full tuition reimbursement. But again, there are some big companies that will - you can ask. You might have better chances getting tuition reimbursement from the public sector.

Can my husband finance a car in MA without a license? I will be driving the car

Can my husband finance a car in MA without a license? I will be driving the car.?
Hi there. I'm wondering if it is possible to buy a vehicle in MA without a license? I am a stay at home mom so I have no income. My husband is the one that works but he doesn't have a license. Can he finance and register a vehicle in his name but be a "non-driver". I would be the one driving him to and from work and the kids to their activities. I am unable to get a loan because I have no income. Our car just broke down so we need a new one and are having trouble because he doesn't drive. Can we do this and if so can anyone recommend a dealer? Thanks in advance for all positive feedback. Please no "smart" remarks.

38-year-old mature student working in Kuwait wondering if career in finance would be better pursued abroad

38-year-old mature student working in Kuwait wondering if career in finance would be better pursued abroad?
I'm a 38-year-old professional currently living and working in Kuwait and am in my third year of an Open University course studying for an Economics BA. I'm planning to continue my studies with an MA in Finance, by which time I'll be in my early 40s, and would like to subsequently work in this field. There is a strongly ageist climate in the workplace here with recruitment targeted primarily at 20-somethings, and I'm wondering if I'd be better to look in Europe, the US or elsewhere for work. Any advice or tips greatly appreciated.
