I'm a 38-year-old professional currently living and working in Kuwait and am in my third year of an Open University course studying for an Economics BA. I'm planning to continue my studies with an MA in Finance, by which time I'll be in my early 40s, and would like to subsequently work in this field. There is a strongly ageist climate in the workplace here with recruitment targeted primarily at 20-somethings, and I'm wondering if I'd be better to look in Europe, the US or elsewhere for work. Any advice or tips greatly appreciated.

I live in Kuwait too, and i strongly recommend if you can have some hope and wait and apply to banks and companies in Kuwait .... there are dozens of opportunities here .... and i think a simple lie on your CV will do no harm ;) wish you all the best ... and trust me try and GOD will assist you for sure ;)
